• Ensures the correct functioning of equipment, identifies deficits and reports appropriately.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

BSN preferred

Current RN License in the state of Texas

Bilingual preferred

Pediatric Experience Required

Critical Care experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS.

• Current licensure in the state of Texas
• CPR Certification
• Must test for a unit specific certification (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse - CPAN, Certified Ambulatory Peri anesthesia Nurse –CAPA) upon qualification to sit for exam
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Phase I Recovery Staff.
